We started researching and exploring polar animals. In the sensory table, we created the Arctic by adding ice and polar animals, and we painted the arctic by using watercolors and salt. During centers, we went ice fishing for vowel sounds and created a polar animal book. Next week, each student will choose a polar animal and write their own non-fiction book.
